HD TELECOM SIM Service Agreement and Application Consent

This document sets out the main conditions for applying for the SIM card, eSIM, pocket WiFi and other telecommunications services that Vietnam Bussan Co., Ltd. ("we", "us" or "our") provides under the name HD TELECOM. Applicants must agree to this document, the HD TELECOM Terms of Service for Telecommunications Services, the Explanation of Important Matters, the Privacy Policy and the individual conditions for each plan before applying.

Article 1 (Eligibility to Apply)

  1. Only individuals aged 18 or over at the time of application may apply for our services.
  2. We do not accept applications from anyone under 18.
  3. Applicants must complete the identity verification we specify and provide true and accurate information.

Article 2 (Identity Verification)

  1. We carry out identity verification to prevent fraudulent use and to take the measures required by law.
  2. We may ask applicants to submit images of the front and back of their identity document, an image showing both the applicant and their identity document, their address in Japan, their email address, their phone number and any other necessary information.
  3. Where SIMs or similar products that support voice calls or SMS require additional identity verification, we provide them once the verification we specify has been completed.

Article 3 (Administration Fee)

  1. When a new contract is made, an administration fee of ¥3,300 (tax included) is charged once only for each SIM or eSIM line and each pocket WiFi device. The administration fee is not charged for the 12-month prepaid SIM.
  2. This fee covers the cost of the administrative work involved in a new contract, such as accepting the application, registering the contract, verifying identity and activating the service.
  3. If you cancel your application before shipping (for eSIM, before the QR code is issued), we refund the full amount, including the administration fee. In all other cases, once the contract procedures have been completed, the administration fee is not refunded, except where we state otherwise or where the law requires a refund.

Article 4 (First Bill)

  1. The first bill is the total of the first month's charge for the plan the applicant has chosen and the administration fee (¥3,300, tax included, per line or device). For the 12-month prepaid SIM, the first bill is the plan charge only.
  2. Example: if you apply for one line on a plan with a monthly charge of ¥2,500 (tax included), your first bill is ¥5,800 (tax included).
  3. If SIM issuance fees, shipping fees, option charges or any other costs arise separately, we show the amounts before your application is finalized. The purchase price of a pocket WiFi device, ¥9,900 (tax included), or the rental deposit of ¥6,600 (tax included) is also shown before your application is finalized and is included in the first bill.
  4. From the second month onwards, we will, in principle, bill the monthly charge for the chosen plan and any paid options or similar services you are using.

Article 5 (Plans)

The monthly charge, data allowance, usage period, speed, what happens once the data allowance is used up, renewal conditions and other details are shown on our website and the application screen. Applicants must check the plan they have chosen and the amount to be billed before the contract is finalized.

Article 6 (Payment Methods)

You can pay by bank transfer or cash on delivery (paid when your SIM card or pocket WiFi device is delivered). Orders consisting only of eSIMs must be paid by bank transfer. If you pay by bank transfer, please pay within 3 days of the order date. For monthly charges from the second month onwards, please follow the payment notice we email you on or after the 25th of each month, and pay the following month's charge by bank transfer by the last day of the current month.

Article 7 (Use of SIMs)

The subscriber must look after and use SIM cards, eSIMs and the services properly. Communication is provided on a best-effort basis, and speed and quality vary depending on location, time of day, device, signal conditions, congestion and other factors.

Article 8 (No Resale, Transfer or Similar Acts)

Without our prior consent, the subscriber must not resell, commercially resell, transfer or sublet the services, SIM cards, eSIMs or any other product or service we provide to a third party, let a third party use them in the subscriber's name, or provide them again to a third party for profit.

Article 9 (Changes and Cancellation)

Plan changes, cancellation, the minimum term, the cancellation fee, whether charges are calculated pro rata on a daily basis and other conditions are governed by the individual conditions for each plan and the HD TELECOM Terms of Service for Telecommunications Services.

Article 10 (Relationship with Other Terms)

Matters not covered by this document are governed by the HD TELECOM Terms of Service for Telecommunications Services, the Explanation of Important Matters, the Privacy Policy and the individual conditions for each plan.

Confirmation of Application Details

Before you finalize your application, the application screen shows the following details.

  • Subscriber's name: as entered on the application form
  • Date of birth: as entered on the application form
  • Plan applied for: the name of the plan you chose
  • Monthly charge (tax included): the monthly charge for the chosen plan, including tax
  • Administration fee (new contracts only): ¥3,300 (tax included) per line or device (not charged for the 12-month prepaid SIM)
  • First bill (tax included): first month's charge + administration fee (¥3,300 × number of lines or devices) + any other costs stated at the time of application (such as the device purchase price or rental deposit)
  • From the second month onwards: monthly charge + paid options or similar (if applicable)

Confirmations for Online Applications

When you apply online, you will be asked to read each of the following statements and tick the box next to it.

  1. I am aged 18 or over at the time of applying.
  2. I agree to submit the identity documents specified by HD TELECOM and the necessary information for identity verification.
  3. I acknowledge that an administration fee of ¥3,300 (tax included) is charged once only, per line or device, when a new contract is made (except for the 12-month prepaid SIM).
  4. I acknowledge that the first bill will be "the first month's charge for the chosen plan + the administration fee + any other costs shown at the time of application".
  5. I have read and agree to this document, the HD TELECOM Terms of Service for Telecommunications Services, the Explanation of Important Matters and the Privacy Policy.
